The Pigeon Police Department has a new set of wheels.

The department recently took delivery of a 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe, paid for by the village with a $37,500 USDA grant.

Chief Adam Csanyi said he was grateful for the hard work done by Village Superintendent/Clerkman Steven Corrion to secure the grant, according to a news release.

Csanyi also paid tribute to Officer Eric Wissner for ordering the vehicle and all the necessary equipment.

“The new patrol vehicle will serve the people of Pigeon for many years,” Csanyi said.
