Roadworks: Drivers can expect 30-minute delays on Incline Village highways

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nevada – Drivers can expect multiple work zones this week as paving continues on State Routes 431 and 28 in Incline Village.

Drivers can expect delays of up to 30 minutes. Traffic control supervisors will monitor traffic flow and delay times.

All work is subject to weather and temperature conditions, and is subject to change.



Crews continue to mill and repave the Mount Rose road from the meadows to the SR-28 roundabout. Paving continued over the weekend, including until 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 24. Hours of work are 24 hour shifts. Traffic is reduced to a single lane and controlled by flaggers through the work zone. Drivers can expect delays of up to 30 minutes.

Work resumes Monday morning and paving operations for the season will end at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28.



From 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, Sierra Nevada Construction, a subcontractor for the project, will be carrying out waterproofing work to repair cracks to protect the road in this area during the winter. Traffic is reduced to a single lane and controlled by flaggers through the work zone.

On Friday, September 30, crews will mill and repave approximately 900 feet of southbound track. Milling will start at 3 am and paving will last all morning. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers and reduced to a single lane in this area.
