Pets N’ Popsicles returns August 5-6 at Greeley’s Centennial Village Museum

The annual Pets N’ Popsicles event is scheduled to return from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 6 at the Centennial Village Museum, 1475 A. St. in Greeley.

Visitors of all ages are welcome to come and spend the day touring the museum buildings, exploring the exhibits, and cooling off with a treat alongside the museum’s furry creatures.

Some of the resident animals you can visit include lambs, goats, chickens, turkeys and Dolly the calf.

The baby Clydesdales – Skye and Sterling – will return as well as the wagon rides of the Mountain Shadow Carriages.

Admission to Pets N’ Popsicles is $4 per person ages 3 and up and includes one popsicle with every purchase.

The Centennial Village Museum opened in 1976 and offers community members and guests of all ages the opportunity to experience a living history museum with costumed interpreters, heritage farm animals and 8 acres of land landscaped. The museum is home to some of the oldest structures in Greeley and Weld County and hosts several special community events each year.
