Gurugram: Sarmathla to become a model village: The Tribune India

In line with the government’s CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) plans, a local company adopted the village of Sarmathla to transform it into a model village. The village will be under CCTV surveillance and will have state-of-the-art infrastructure.

An exercise has started to make the village of Sarmathla a model village. The public school and the village bus station will be renovated with corporate social responsibility funds. After that, the whole village will be equipped with CCTV cameras. Those who come to the village will be monitored through these cameras by the panchayat. This work will be done in two phases. In addition to maintaining cleanliness, work will also be carried out to improve the future of children studying in the village. After having seen the capacities of the children, they will be helped in the choice of their career.

According to the plan, CCTV cameras will be installed in all main lanes and roads inside the village and streets and roads will have solar street lights.

The private company will renovate the village school with the corporate social responsibility fund. A large room will be built on the school grounds and fences will also be installed around the school. The rooms will be prepared on the model of private schools. Apart from this, the village bus stop will be renovated.

“The private company will spend on its CSR fund to make Sarmathla a model village. In order for the work to be done quickly, it will be divided into phases. In a first phase, the company will renovate the public school and the bus station. In the second phase, CCTV cameras will be installed, ”said Gaurav Singh, regional manager of the Haryana CSR Advisory Board.
