TRANSMITTING TUBE #803 / VT-106, USED, PORCELAIN BASE, NO BRAND VISIBLE, WITH A NICE PORCELAIN SOCKET The 803 is just another of the many great "800" series transmitting tubes that RCA and many other companies made for decades, beginning in the first half of the last century. These tubes were often the staple in transmitters of all types, but in later years, became popular for audio applications in new amps being designed by audiophiles. This one has good filaments, as I observed the orange glow beginning, as I increased their voltage towards the proper 10 volts they are rated at. There is no visible or audible debris loose within the bulb. As can be seen in the photo, the getter looks excellent. Unlike receiving tubes, I have no way to actually test these tubes, so it is being sold "as-is", which is likely still a good tube. Shipping is free. Shipping to U.S.A. ONLY. Shipping to the lower 48 contiguous states only.
