TWO RCA TYPE 809 TRANSMITTING TUBES, PROBABLY USED, USED IN AUDIO AMPS NOWADAYS, TESTED EXCELLENT ON MILITARY TESTER Rather unusual triode tube, one of the "800 Series" tubes that RCA and others made, beginning in the early-mid 20th century. Type is very similar to the more-familiar 811 triodes. While I would not call this a "matched pair", they each tested very good on the tester, and the meter reading was fairly close, as can be seen in the photos. The getter is excellent, and there is no visible or audible debris within the bulbs. The good readings and their physical condition may even mean that these are new tubes, without their boxes. Shipping is free. Shipping to U.S.A. ONLY! Shipping to the lower contiguous states only.
