It is a small signal dual triode intended for use as a line level amplifier or driver in high quality audio amplifiers. Features include very low distortion, medium transconductance, higher plate voltage, dissipation rating and larger cathode than 6DJ8 types. Many sellers claim that 6N1P-EV tube is 6DJ8/6922 equivalent which is not completely factual. Basically the 6N1P-EV has a higher heater current than the 6DJ8/6922 and in many cases they work great in place of a 6DJ8/6922 but it's always best to consult the equipment manufacturers specifications as to compatibility.
